This term is not uncommon to any of us. The subject introduces the student to the world of weaves, fibers, textiles, embroidery; block printing, tie & dye, garment construction and so on. Now days, fashion is everywhere so, career options are more in this field but one should have their own talent, ambition and talent. A fashion designer is a designer for fashion able to combine together creativity, aesthetic sensitivity, market trends, economic parameters and technical competences necessary to put together a fashion product.

To get hands on experience of this industry, the student has to first learn to be a 'tailor' i.e. he is provided with the knowledge of basic cuts and drapes with endless variations. Further on comes the knowledge of his tool - the sewing machine.

School of fashion design gives base instruments for the creation and presentation of a fashion collection, starting from illustration techniques, analysis of the new trends, choice of textiles and instruments for a final presentation. School of fashion design will teach you how to combine creativity, aesthetic taste, information on market and fashion trends, economic parameters and technical skills to develop projects and perfect fashion products.

The students are assigned fashion design related project and finally presenting the work to the jury. Along with the actual display, the student is also required to make the presentation in the form of a portfolio.
