Production base of accessories has shifted to countries such as India due to less labour cost & easy raw material availabity. Application of contemporary designs in accessories gives value-addition and enhances the quality of life.
The course develops competence in basic skills and understanding of the processes and principles involved in manufacturing. Strategic designing with an insight to materials, science, and methodology develop competence to adopt a realistic design approach. The course envisages work opportunities in related industries and self owned enterprises by addressing design, management, marketing, retailing and technology.
