Campus Event

The student's under the guidance of faculty members did the Visual Merchandising (VM) for 55 clusters at the FORHEX Fair, Jaipur. The organizers are Federation of Rajasthan Handicrafts Exporters. Forhex Fair is a leading retail event of handicrafts & textile industry in India. The Academy is doing VM for the fair from last 2 years i.e. 2009 & 2010. Also the academy put up its stall at the Fair. The stall was the center of attraction for the visitors due to its creative structure and the exhibit. Not only this work of the students was been appreciated by the visitors and they also get orders for their products.

Every year academy celebrates Independence Day in a vivid manner. The students at ARCH are from different parts of nation which make this whole celebration an event full of cultural diversity representing India in its true sense. The celebration started with the flag hosting by the Founder Director Ms. Archana Surana. Than the student performed Dance of different sates like Bihu dance from Assam and also shared their experiences that how in their state the day is celebrated as. For few students from North East part of country this was the first time they have seen flag hosting which was an emotional moment for all. The Honorary chairman Mr. Rajeev Surana was the guest of Honor for the event.

On the last day of Arch Academy Graduate Fashion Week academy conducted its Annual Convocation Ceremony. The special guests for the ceremony are Sh. Vimal Chand Surana, convener, JJS and owner of world famous jewelers Bhuramal Rajmal Surana popularly knows as Surana Jewellers, Mr. S. N. Ambedkar, Regional Director, IGNOU and Mr. Dileep Baid, President Federation of Rajasthan Handicraft Exporters.
After these 30 students of 3 departments namely Fashion, Jewellery & Interior were awarded for the excellence in academic performance by the Dias 150 students graduated from the academy. The staff members also got the awards – Best Academic Staff to Ms. Sunita Yadav & Best Non Academic Staff to Ms. Megha Jain. Then it was followed by a Dance Party.
