Campus Event

Arch Academy in association with Grahashobha (the leading magazine) organized a Fashion Illustration Competition on 5th January 10. Around 35 students participated in the competition in which 1st prize was won by Ms. Astha Anurag, IInd by Ms. Jyoti Sinha and IIIrd Ms. Saloni Roongta by. The theme given to the candidates was party wear attire.

Semester Jury was being conducted at the academy from. The Foundation Course jury was taken by Chandra Vijai Singh ex faculty NID, Ms. Misha mathur, Textile Designer, NIFT Alumni, Ms. Neha Bhati, Accessory designer, Nift Alumni, Mr. Rajesh Jain, Access Development. In Fashion Design the members were Ms. Sonal Chitrankshi, Merchandiser, Fab India and Mr. Nandan Ghiya, Fashion Designer, NIFT Delhi Alumni; In Jewellery Ms. Juhi Singhal, Jewellery Designer and Mr. Narendra Tatiwala, Jeweler were there. In Interior jury Ar. Mayank Sharma and Ar. Rahul Saxena were the jury members.

Students at academy celebrated Christmas keeping "Goathic" as theme. Gothic refers to people of the ethnonym of a group of East Germanic Tribes. Gothic fashion is a clothing style worn by members of the Goth subculture, a dark, sometimes morbid, eroticized fashion and style of dress. Student did the stylization keeping the same in mind.
