Academy organized a workshop to elaborate on the economic growth of India and the need for micro, small and medium enterprises. The industrial motivational camp was organized in association with MSME, and NSIC, Govt. Of India. The guest of honor on were Swedish women entrepreneurs Ms. Inger Wickbom, CEO, Entrepreneur Centre, Ms.Lisbeth Wigstrom, Adviser & Lecturer, New Entrepreneur centre who also shares their experiences.

During the Lifestyle Fashion Week 09 seminars on various topics were conducted at the campus. The eminent speakers were Mr. A.K. Mahrotra, Rtd. Asstt. Director (textiles), Development Commissioner Handicrafts (DCH), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India on use of vegetable dyes in Fashion & Textile Industry, Mr. Sachin Jain, CEO Gallant Jewellery on Computer Aided Design. Mr. Hemant Ambawani, Fashion Designer on Prospects in Fashion Design, Mr. Rajneesh Bhandari on Gemstone Treatment, Mr. Ayush Kasliwal, Designer and Entrepreneur on Design and Entrepreneurship and on other hand Ms. Mamta Yadav talked on Etiquette & Lifestyle.

Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of Higher Education, Govt. of Rajasthan inaugurated Artisans Training Program, sponsored by Development Commissioner of Handicrafts, Ministry of Textile, Govt. of India, under the HRD scheme.120 Artisans will be trained in the Fashion Accessory programs namely Textile, Leather, Metal, Wood & Terracotta Craft every year for five consecutive years.
