International Degree Program (2+1)
The 2+1 yrs. Photography course is a unique offer to study a BA International degree qualification in 3 yrs. The course is delivered over 2 parts, where the 2 yrs. of BTEC HND Level 5, a qualification awarded by Pearson, UK's largest globally recognized education group, will be undertaken at ARCH in India. The learn-er progresses to a top-up degree at a partner University in UK for the 3rd year, the Degree phase.
The BA Photography program will prepare the learner for a career in the field of visual communication. They will learn photography, software manipulation, styling, tools and background necessary for advertising, magazine/editorial photography, commercial applications, others medias and markets. In a world which focuses on signs, visual expressions and fast communication, photography has a key participation in the business environment. With this course the learner will be ready to use art concepts for business aspects.

The study of this course will emphasize the use of photography to promote an interrelation of art and the digital media. The development of narratives, using lighting, styling and art direction are the final goal to be achieved by the learner. The understanding of photography as a unique historical register and potential as conjunction with art and video for installation art will guide the learner during the course.
Year 1 BTEC HND Level 4 (India)
During the first year, the course will introduce the Professional Development and fundamental units of Communication, Techniques and Process. Specific aspects of the field such as Lighting for Photography, Visual Narratives and Photographic Practices will attune the learner to be comfortable with the world of visual communication.
Year 2 BTEC HND Level 5 (India)
In the units of level 5, the learner will go more deeply in the technical aspects of the photography with Styling and Art Direction. The Applied Practice Collaborative Project will involve aspects as Advanced Photography Studies and Professional Practice to make sure the learner is ready for professional life, being an artist/designer or an entrepreneur. They will undertake apprenticeship with Professional Studios, Photographers or undertake professional assignments.
Year 3 Level 6 (Degree Abroad)
In year 3, the learners should choose one of the affiliated universities of UK to finalize their choice of program. Immersing in a new culture, their own design thinking, process, the learners will plan individual -development to another level. ARCH will facilitate progression to Degree with required processes and the Portfolio for evaluation by the University.
