GABA, the biggest annual fashion event of the ARCH Academy of Design<\/a> has been held on 3rd<\/sup> May 2015<\/strong>. The students of ARCH were all set date to get that fire on the Ramp. Everybody at campus was super energized with their collection and eager to show the world their potential as Upcoming Designers of the Industry. This season too witnessed the industry\u2019s most established names come together with young talent to set an unparalleled benchmark of diversity, creativity and energy. Iconic designers like Anita Dongre,\u00a0Bibi Russell, Abhishek Gupta & Pratima Pandey, took the responsibility to start the event.<\/p>\n

ARCH Founder & Director, Ms. Archana Surana, said before the event \u201cThis year\u2019s GABA-<\/strong> Graduate Fashion Show 2015<\/strong><\/a> is a special celebration of 15 years of ARCH and will showcase the creations our young talented Designers in the world of Apparel, Jewellery and Fashion Accessories .The event is scheduled at the Hotel Lalit, Jaipur <\/strong>on 3rd<\/sup> May 2015.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sharing about the collections, students have taken inspirations from fleeting beauty the bird of paradise, Honey comb, playing cards of Orissa from the historic times, Avant Garde garments using embroidery as a technique for my\u00a0designs inspired by the bright colors and culture of Pushkar, Rajasthan, and Glow worms as a natural source of light etc.<\/p>\n

On other High Fashion Jewellery collections have been sponsored by different brands. The inspirations are Four Seasons, Art Movements, Fresco Paintings of Rajasthan, Nizams of Hyderabad etc. Top Jewellery brands like Amrapali Jewels, Dwarka, Haritsons, Dangayach Jewels, and HF Metals have sponsored their collections.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the show was the Uniforms our team has designed for the Jaipur Metro staff.<\/strong> The\u00a0choreographers for the show\u00a0were Anisha, Tania & Aparna Bhal. They have been awarded \u2018Choreographer of the Year\u2019 in 2011 by Marie Claire Magazine. India\u2019s top super models viz. Sonalika Sahay Preeti Dhata, Krishna Somani showcased the Garments & Jewellery on ramp.<\/p>\n

Also best students were awarded on Fashion Show night for their creative talent.<\/p>\n

On 4th<\/sup> May we were hosting a Panel Discussion with experts to take initiatives to generate awareness about New Age Career Opportunities in Design. <\/em><\/strong>This session was for selected students who aspire to take Design Education after their schools. The sessions had top fashion & product designers from industry.<\/p>\n
