Call for Abstracts

The Fashion Colloquia 2020 Jaipur, will provide a forum for discussions, debate and interaction on how essential, and integral it is, for us to protect and preserve the colors and threads of our rich material culture and the unique stories they tell us. Submissions are open for Research Papers / Posters and Textile Exhibits that recognizes the importance of Responsible Fashion Future, addressing one of the following sub-themes:

  1. Myth to Meaning - Narratives Towards Sustainable Futures
  2. Disruption & Innovation - Academia & Industry
  3. New Technologies & New Paradigms - Stories of Transformation
  4. Change Makers - New Fashion Business Models
  5. Fashion Governance in a Local Context


Selected best design will be showcased for RAMP show
Scholarship for a two week course in Indian Craft Techniques conducted by National Awarded Craftsman at ARCH campus, in the World Heritage City, Jaipur

The Colloquia will accept the following forms of contributions:

1. Abstract for Research Paper & Poster

  • All the abstracts must have a title and a word count of about 500 words, & should be written in English & submitted in Microsoft word file format only.
  • Provide 5-7 keywords that closely reflect the content of the abstract.
  • Please indicate the relevant sub-theme in the subject and include the background purpose, methods and conclusions.
  • All submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and will be notified upon acceptance.
  • Please include all contact information (Name of the author, affiliation, email address, phone number).
  • In case of multiple authors, please indicate the corresponding authors.
  • Entrants may be academicians, students or researchers from the industry.
  • If you are an MA or PhD student, please indicate this.
