Women’s Mentoring Walk

Many professional women and emerging women leaders came together in New Delhi, Jaipur and Udaipur for Vital Voices Global Mentoring Walk which was held as a part of a global movement to inspire a rising generation through mentorship. This event was part of a global movement in which women leaders from Vital Voices’ global leadership network walked in more than 60 countries leading to 151 walks across the globe. The event was held on 10th March at New Delhi and Jaipur and on 11th March in Udaipur.

In Delhi, the Women’s Mentoring Walk event was held at Café Lota at the National Crafts Museum at PragatiMaidan and was strongly supported by FLO (FICCI Ladies Organization). Vasvi Bharat Ram, National president of FLO graced the occasion with Mrs. ArchanaSurana.

 In Jaipur, the mentoring was held at the Polo Ground near Central Park. Nivedita Sarda, Executive chair of Women Mentor Forum, Jaipur headed this event. Anita Bhadel, who is the Minister for Child and Woman Welfare in Government of Rajasthan and Smt. Suman Sharma, Chairperson, Rajasthan Women Commission launched the poster of the event. Senior IAS officer Mugdha Sinha was the guest of honour at this event. Squash player Surbhi Mishra and Leela Bordia of Neerja International Inc. were the special guests. After the 45 minutes’ walk, mentors and mentees shared their experience with the group. Many felt that this is one of a kind forum which leads to instant comfort and friendship in sharing with their mentors and they are committed to continue this relationship for the entire year.

In Udaipur, the Global Mentoring Walk was held at Fateh Sagar Pal. The flag off in Udaipur was done by champion swimmer Gauravi Singhvi. Executive Chairperson, Dr. Anita Bhandari lead the walk in Udaipur, higher education minister Kiran Maheshwari was the Chief Guest and Nivritti Kumari Mewar, who is a member of Mewar’s royal family was the Guest-of- Honor on this occasion. Archana Surana shared her belief,” We need to invest in the generation of women leaders for positive thought and action.

Elected to Cumulus Executive Board

Our city's pride Archana Surana, Founder & Director, ARCH College of Design & Business has been elected for the 8th Cumulus Executive Board (2022-2025) to represent India on 356 Member Institutions- Cumulus Executive Board.

ARCH College of Design & Business as Knowledge Partner with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) held the 21st CII India Design Summit, on 8th-10th December 2021. The 3-day event via the CII hive platform was themed "Design for Circular Economy".

17th JJS- Jaipur Jewellery Show’21

ARCH exhibited its Jewellery Department’s work, providing ARCH’s students and graduates the opportunity to showcase their work at such a Grand Platform. Jewellery Designers and ARCH Alumni Shrishti Bhardwaj, Label-Also and Riya Soni, Label-Inari too exhibited their work.

Ms Archana Surana sat as a panelist at the 22nd World Education Summit 2021: a premier global event on innovation in education. Organised by Elets the event was a congregation of leaders from the global education fraternity sharing their ideas to reinvent, redesign and revamp education.
