Masterclass: "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao by Shri Jain Swetamber Terapanth Mahila Mandal
Shri Jain Swetamber Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Jaipur, conducted a Masterclass at ARCH on "Challenges Faced by Girls & Women" to promote the "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" campaign.
Ms. Madhu Shyamsukha, President, Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Jaipur gave a speech focusing on stopping female foeticide and educating the girl child. Panelists on the topic were Dr. Teena Sawhney, Educationist and Regional Operations Director, India for CBA-CFA (Canada) who spoke about the importance of detoxification in our lives and its methods.
Ms. Archana Surana, Founder & Director, ARCH College spoke about Women Mentoring and how important it is for women to uplift other women by helping and mentoring each other.
The third panelist was Ms. Shobag Baid, Trustee - Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Mahila Mandal.
ARCH Students Ishitha Bhattacharya, Anshika Shrivastava, Anushka Choudhary, Charu Nahata also gave speeches on challenges faced by women. Students and Staff at ARCH took an Oath towards "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" campaign and against female foeticide.
