Celebration of National Handloom Day
On the Occasion of National Handloom Day, Women Mentor Forum (WMF) and ARCH College of Design & Business celebrated National Handloom Day at ARCH Campus. With an objective to highlight the contribution of the handloom industry in the socio-economic development of the state, the entrepreneurs of the Women Mentor Forum had set up an exhibition and sale of their own handloom and handcrafted products. More than 100 accomplished and professional women from Jaipur participated in the event.
A talk show too was organised between Fashion Designer Pratima Pandey, (famously known as Chanderi queen, Label PRAMA) & Archana Surana (Founder Director of ARCH Academy and Vital Voices Lead Fellow, and Flag Bearer of the Vital Voices Global Mentoring Walk) to discuss about the importance of handloom.
