Futuring Design Education 2024

Two students from ARCH College of Design & Business, Muskan Amarka (B.Des, Interior Design), and Anushka Rastogi (B.Des, Jewellery Design), showcased their research at IIT Delhi's Futuring Design Conference. Their exploration of "Exploring the impact of AI on design education: a comprehensive student perspective" delved into the multifaceted implications of artificial intelligence from a holistic student viewpoint.
In discussing their learning experiences, both students emphasized the significance of inclusivity and ethical considerations in AI-infused design education. Muskan expressed that exploring AI in design education has been transformative, not just about embracing technology but understanding how it amplifies creativity and expands design thinking.
Anushka added that their involvement in the research allowed them to navigate the intersection of tradition and innovation. AI integration in the curriculum not only keeps them abreast of industry trends but also challenges them to think beyond conventional boundaries.
