The third day of the Erasmus+ Co-LIFE Pilot 2 workshop at ARCH College of Design & Business focused on experiential learning through field engagement. Participants were divided into groups and undertook field visits to Jaipur-based case owner organisations associated with the Co-LIFE project.
The groups visited Jaipur Rugs, Neerja International, Kalpana Handmade Papers, Jaipur Bloc, and Gyan Museum, gaining first-hand exposure to industry practices rooted in craft, sustainability, innovation, and entrepreneurship. These visits allowed participants to understand organisational processes, community engagement models, and real-world challenges faced by enterprises operating at the intersection of design, social impact, and business.
Through direct interaction with industry professionals and on-ground observation, participants explored how design-led approaches are applied in diverse contexts. The field visits provided valuable insights that will inform the development of impact-driven solutions during the workshop.
Day three strengthened the programme’s emphasis on learning through practice, bridging academic knowledge with industry realities and community-based challenges.
