Designing for Impact: Connecting Education, Entrepreneurship & Industry
It was a privilege to present the EU-funded Co-LIFE (Co-Designing Learning for Impact-Focused Entrepreneurship) project at the 26th CII Global Design Summit & Exposition 2026 in Bengaluru, engaging with leaders and practitioners from industry and academia.
The Summit’s theme, Design for the 5Ps — People, Planet, Purpose, Prosperity and Profitability, resonated strongly with Co-LIFE’s vision of nurturing entrepreneurs who create meaningful, measurable and sustainable impact.
I also had the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion and share details of the Co-LIFE project at the exposition, highlighting how design education can bridge the gap between learning, enterprise and real-world impact.
Co-LIFE brings together eight higher education institutions across India and Europe to co-create innovative learning approaches for impact-focused entrepreneurship. Its key outcomes include a three-month Master’s-level programme in Impact-Focused Entrepreneurship and a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) to equip educators with the frameworks and pedagogical tools to nurture responsible, impact-driven entrepreneurs.
By connecting design, business, education and society, @colife_eu aims to transform ideas into ventures that create value for people and the planet while building sustainable prosperity.
Grateful to CII for the opportunity to contribute to this important dialogue on design leadership, innovation and the future of responsible entrepreneurship.
