ARCH College of Design & Business showcased the Atibana Collection and the Bamboo Metal Chair in collaboration with the Weaver Service Center during National Handloom Week 2023 at Jawahar Kala Kendra, jaipur. Notably, CM Ashok Gehlot virtually inaugurated the "Atibana" Collection and the Bamboo-Metal Chair, further elevating the occasion.
The "Atibana" Collection, comprising 9 meticulously crafted garments, elegantly showcased the evolution of handloom textiles into modern silhouettes. This collection paid homage to the skilled artisans at the Weavers Service Centre, celebrating both heritage and innovation. The runway presentation by members of the Women Mentors Forum added grace and significance to the event.
Beyond the realm of fashion, ARCH College introduced a sustainable masterpiece – the Bamboo-Metal Chair. This creation transcends aesthetics, promoting environmental consciousness and supporting local craftsmanship. Archana Surana, Founder and Director of ARCH College of Design & Business, has been re-elected as Board Member of the Cumulus Association Executive Board for the 2025–2028 term. She previously served as the Vice President from 2022 to 2025.
