ARCH College of Design and Business participated in a fashion show organized by the Textile Ministry and Weaver Service Centre Jaipur on the occasion of the 10th National Handloom Day. In this event, students from ARCH College showcased the "Atibana" collection, presenting the rich heritage of Indian handlooms combined with innovative creativity in fashion. The collection featured 11 garments, all designed by ARCH College students. The garments are made from handwoven denim crafted by weavers from the Weaver Service Centre. The making of these garments involved using extra web denim, designed using traditional handloom techniques that cannot be replicated on power looms.
The "Atibana" collection includes 11 garments, combining handwoven denim with fabrics like Kota Doria, chiffon, linen, and cotton, which have been transformed into contemporary silhouettes. ARCH College's fashion department students designed the collection: Bhavna Ramrakiyani, Devika Dudi, Anushka Khemani, Devakshi Ladiwal, Isha Dubey, Mansi Agarwal, Preeti Dhankhar, Kriti Vyas, Shweta Mehta, and Kalpana Singh.
