ARCH College of Design & Business continues its year-long Design Culture Learning Series (DCLS) under the central theme FORM.REFORM.TRANSFORM., now exploring its third sub-theme—Harmonious Livability. The ongoing series fosters meaningful interactions between academia and industry, highlighting how design can contribute to a more balanced, functional, and enriching way of life.
The sessions under Harmonious Livability invited speakers who shared diverse, practice-led insights into living with intention, comfort, and creativity:
Prernaa Makhariaa – Founder of Jewellery Networking and Style Prer, presented “Transformation – A Journey into My Life & the Evolving Roles within the Same Genre”, offering a personal narrative of how evolving identities within a creative field can lead to deeper professional fulfillment and harmony.
Bhavesh Soni – Founder and Design Head of Nodes, led the session “Designing Everyday Luxury – Creating Products for Functional & Harmonious Living”, focusing on the integration of thoughtful design and functionality in daily life to elevate living experiences.
Bhargav Mistry – Design pedagogist and practitioner, shared his unique perspective in the session “Design and Music – A Propassion”, exploring the synergy between sound and design as a meditative, expressive, and immersive approach to creativity and well-being.
With this sub-theme, DCLS continues to emphasize the importance of designing not just for utility, but for a richer human experience—supporting lifestyles where balance, emotion, and functionality coexist meaningfully.
