Visual Merchandising- a silent selling, by Anuraag Singhal

A three days creativity workshop on Visual Merchandising was conducted by Anuraag Singhal. Workshop aimed to explain the different concepts involved in the process of creativity. During the Masterclass Concepts of Visual Merchandising were explained to students by him in most simpler ways through interesting videos, activities and presentations. He referred Visual Merchandising as “Common sense” and said that it is inherent part of retail. A Marshmallow Challenge activity was organized where students were asked to make free standing towers using spaghetti, marshmallows and strings in few minutes’ time. The activity made student realize the importance of team work, proper work distribution, effective planning of processes and prototyping. The entire experience of creativity workshop, VM sessions and activities proved to be fruitful opportunity of learning and exploring new concepts and ideas.
