The Unexplored World of Enamel Art
A 5 days’ intensive workshop Contemporary Enamelling on copper & Steel was conducted at ARCH by International Enamelling artist Kavita Dhankar to provide the knowledge of the use of enamel in contemporary design & jewellery.
It gave an opportunity to students to create their own designs and learn how to enamel it, finish and ready to use. Using different shapes of cut -outs from raw copper & steel students created their own designs of Jewellery. Enamelling Techniques like Cloisonné, Silver foil, Stenciling, Graffito, Shading and Shifting were used to create beautiful contemporary jewellery pieces.
