Ms Archana Surana represented ARCH at the General Assembly hosted by CUMULUS - The Global Association of Art & Design. The event consisted of an International Conference on “DESIGN CULTURE(s)” hosted by the Sapienza University of Rome, Faculty of Architecture and School of Industrial Design, in June 2021. ARCH with it’s permanent membership with CUMULUS provides a dynamic forum for knowledge exchange and best practices to its students and a committed advocate for the positive role of designers and artists in shaping a better world.
Ms Archana Surana also represented ARCH at the 23 Annual conferences by the International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes (IFFTI) themed “Fashioning Resurgence: Our Time is Now”.
ARCH as a permanent member of IFFTI provides a platform where academicians, policymakers, students, industry representatives and other leaders converge for insightful conversations and discussions and make actionable plans for the future of the global fashion industry and affiliated fields. IFFTI has grown into the most comprehensive and prestigious international organization representing leading fashion higher education institutions in areas of design, technology and business. Among various Initiatives, ARCH in collaboration with IFFTI provides Travel Scholarships to Faculty and Students of IFFTI member Institutions for presenting papers at the Conference and conducting short courses of Study /Workshops at another member institution.
Archana Surana, Founder and Director of ARCH College of Design & Business, has been re-elected as Board Member of the Cumulus Association Executive Board for the 2025–2028 term. She previously served as the Vice President from 2022 to 2025.
