WDO – World Design Organisation

ARCH holds membership of W.D.O. as part of its strategy to progress in international Industry Oriented Design Education. The W.D.O. provides a global platform to over 50 member nations to express and share views related to Design & Development based on the Sustainable Development Goals(S.D.G.s) chalked out by the United Nations(U.N.). In addition, W.D.O. resources enable research and collaborative understanding of new pedagogy for structuring courses towards sustainable design development. It also allows explorations towards developing collaborative possibilities for assistance in various projects undertaken by the members.

IFFTI - International Foundation Of Fashion Technology Institutes

I.F.F.T.I. is the apex body of leading International Fashion Education Institutions, coming together for course up-gradation, structured professionalism, industry operations at the global stage, and contributing towards establishing a framework of cooperation and collaboration. ARCH is a member of I.F.F.T.I. and is on the Education Industry Sub Committee and the Membership sub Committee. The foundation presently comprises 52 members from 24 countries. I.F.F.T.I. is one of the most comprehensive and prestigious international organisations representing leading fashion higher education institutions in design, technology and business.

CUMULUS

CUMULUS - The Global Association of Art and Design Education and Research

Cumulus is the International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media, formed to serve Design education. Located in Helsinki, Finland, it currently consists of 257 members from 54 countries. Initiated to build a dynamic and flexible academic forum to bring together top-level educational institutions worldwide, Cumulus offers a broader international context for discussion and developments in art, design and media through intensive workshops, projects and biannual conferences. In membership with CUMULUS, ARCH provides international exposure opportunities for its students and faculty members.

H.K.R.I.T.A. (The Hongkong Research Institute Of Textiles And Apparel)

ARCH is a member of the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (H.K.R.I.T.A.) to foster research development and technology transfer in the textiles and clothing industry. H.K.R.I.T.A. was established in 2006 with support from HKSAR Government, supports institutes, companies and associations in the textiles and clothing industry.

Arch College partners with MOE Innovation Cell and AICTE

ARCH College of Design & Business proudly announces its collaboration with the Ministry of Education Innovation Cell and AICTE, recognizing it as an IIC institution. This partnership brings the Impact Lecture Series, featuring experts in innovation, entrepreneurship, and intellectual property rights (IPR). These sessions, available online and offline, aim to engage students and faculty, fostering problem-solving skills and networking opportunities.

ARCH has also established the ARCH Design Business Incubator (ADBI) HubIN to nurture entrepreneurial skills and provide industry mentoring. Through the Campus-to-Company initiative, we connect students with professionals and entrepreneurs, offering support in finding professional opportunities nationally and internationally.

The Co-LIFE project, spanning a duration of three years starting from January 2024, is centred on establishing a stakeholder ecosystem that involves local businesses, non-academic entities, and pertinent stakeholders. The project aims to promote social inclusion and sustainable growth by fostering knowledge-sharing and intercultural relations. Through impactful entrepreneurship activities, the project aspires to achieve positive social, economic, and environmental outcomes, aligning with the objectives of Erasmus+ CBHE. The overarching goal is to enhance sustainable development in both Indian and EU communities.

The Cumulus Student Talent Camp is a student program initiated by the Cumulus Association to enrich the Cumulusian community and advance the mission and values of the association by offering new possibilities to students. These Camps create inspiring exceptional learning environments that foster engagement, networking, collaboration and knowledge exchange under the umbrella of art, media, design education and research in an open and friendly atmosphere that celebrates the increasingly diverse and global nature of the Cumulus ‘family’. Each edition of the Camp is hosted and organized by a local host selected from among the Cumulus member institutions worldwide.

In 2023, ARCH College of Design & Business, Jaipur, India, conceived, curated, hosted and conducted the first edition of the Cumulus Student Talent Camp on the theme ‘Design Identity Direction’ focusing on learning from Living Traditions and working towards SDGs in a regional and global context. The creative industries are an essential part of all economies. They offer many kinds of opportunities for young people and students in the creative fields to explore their creativity and develop their skills.

IIID - Institute of Indian Interior Designers

The Institute of Indian Interior Designers was founded in 1972 to establish sound professional and trade practises and ethics amongst its members and highlight and enhance the image of the Interior Design Profession and exchange know‐how with similar organisations. I.I.I.D. is a member of A.P.S.D.A.: Asia Pacific Space Designers Alliance, with over 8,000 members in 28 chapters and centres across India.

ARCH with its I.I.I.D membership guides students and teachers with the latest development in their field, helping them build their professional network and increase their credibility in the Interior Design sphere. In addition, Association with I.I.I.D. helps promote excellence in education and ethical conduct in design practice.

FDCI - Fashion Design Council of India

The Fashion Design Council of India (F.D.C.I.) is India's apex body of fashion design. It is represented by over 400 members and was created to promote, nurture and represent the most incredible talents in the country. Its prime objective is to propagate the business of fashion in India and globally by adding resplendent flair in the form of coveted fashion weeks. Being a part of the F.D.C.I. fraternity is beneficial for ARCH in constantly setting high benchmarks giving valuable opportunities to acquire first-hand support and work experience at the various high profile events organised by the F.D.C.I. like the Amazon Fashion Week.

TIE RAJASTHAN:

TiE Rajasthan, launched in 2002, is a nonprofit venture devoted to entrepreneurs in all industries, at all stages, from incubation, throughout the entrepreneurial life cycle. With a global reach and a local focus, the heart of TiE's efforts lies in its five foundational programs – Mentoring, Networking, Education, Funding, and Incubation. TiE, a peer-to-peer learning platform, invites scholars, professional experts, and industry leaders from diverse backgrounds to share their knowledge, values, and expertise.

FLO was established in 1983 as a division of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (F.I.C.C.I.), which is the apex body of industry and commerce in India. INTERACTION DESIGN ASSOCIATION (IxDA)

The Interaction Design Association (IxDA) is a member-supported organisation dedicated to the discipline of interaction design. Driven by a passion for design, and a belief that interaction design can make the world a better place, IxDA is a global network of more than 120,000 individuals and over 200 local groups, focusing on interaction design issues. ARCH as a member supports and organises local meetups, global events and initiatives with IxDA to bring the community together, advance the professional craft and improve the shared human condition through interactive design.

The collaboration between Arch Research College for Higher Education (ARCH College of Design and Business) and R-CAT, signed on September 15th, 2023 aims to enhance teaching and learning activities through joint initiatives. The agreement is initially set for three years includes promoting institutional exchanges, supporting students and staff, and organizing training programs and events.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Weavers’ Service Centre, Jaipur, and ARCH College of Design and Business, signed on May 17th, 2023, establishes a collaboration to develop skilled manpower in the handloom sector. The agreement outlines objectives, responsibilities, and programs related to textile and design education. Weavers’ Service Centre will introduce a certificate course, and ARCH College will contribute expertise and conduct internal assessments. The collaboration, with a duration of three years, aims to enhance research, training, and entrepreneurship in the handloom industry.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) - Rajasthan and Arch Research College for Higher Education (ARCH College of Design and Business), signed on September July 25th, 2023 aims to foster an entrepreneurial ecosystem in Rajasthan. The agreement is initially set for two years and facilitates collaboration in mentoring, start-up support, internship programs, and joint initiatives. Key objectives include providing opportunities for ARCH students in TiE's global programs, exchanging experts and mentors, and enabling start-ups to pitch to investors.

ADOBE – Uva Jagriti Sansthan & Addon Next Gen (P) Ltd

ARCH College of Design & Business is excited to announce a collaboration with Uva Jagriti Sansthan (UJS) and Addon NextGen to promote design and creativity among K-12 students through short-term courses and talent hunt Olympiads. ARCH College will create digital content and question sets for the Olympiad, and conduct joint workshops and seminars. Additionally, ARCH College will provide joint certification for participants.
